A home for Stars Reach mods, with a manager that keeps them updated across game patches, and community tools built from real in-game data.
Latest version: v0.1.2 · Windows
Community data collector. Captures recipes, items, item tags, crafting stations, dependency trees, and where items come from (drops and sources), and contributes them to the shared database at srmods.com. Runs quietly in the background; heavier scans are on demand.
Fixes the vegetation flicker. Dense plants and trees are drawn by the game's mesh-cluster renderer, whose GPU visibility buffers are hard-capped; when you face a dense direction the caps overflow and instances get dropped every frame, producing the shimmering horizon-band flicker. This raises those caps so nothing is dropped, with VRAM scaling to real demand. Applies automatically on load; Ctrl+Alt+F12 toggles it off and on.
Adds a button to the ESC menu that switches characters without quitting and relaunching the game.
Stops Instaformer block walls, floors and roofs from popping in and out with camera distance and angle. The game's mesh-cluster renderer binds one GPU buffer to two output slots for the building group, so Direct3D 11 drops the real visibility results and each frame draws last frame's shadow set instead, only the blocks within about 20 m of the camera. This mod gives the building group its own second buffer so the correct list reaches the draw. Applies automatically on load; Ctrl+Alt+F11 toggles it off and on.
Fixes crackling, slowed-down audio and audio hard locks in big fights. Converts the game's combat, object, player and creature sound banks from Opus to PCM/ADPCM on your machine at first launch (about 15 seconds, redone after each game patch, ~280 MB of memory) and keeps Wwise busses in a normal surround bed when Windows spatial sound is on. No game files are changed, no hotkeys.
Captures the raw server-to-client JSON for items and recipes and writes each message to its own timestamped local file, exactly as it comes off the network, no parsing, no re-encoding, no edits. Purely local: nothing is uploaded anywhere. Headless (no in-game UI); dumps land in the game's data folder under StarsReach-RawCapture/ (one file per message, plus an index.tsv timeline). A tool for data collection and debugging.
Detects when Stars Reach updates on Steam and tells you which mods are verified against the new game build, so no more guessing after a patch.
See at a glance which installed mods are out of date and pull the latest versions straight from srmods.com.
Cross-checks mods before you install: if two patch the same game method or inject the same file, it warns you first.
